Looking for new maintainer

It's been more than one year since the last update. I've been having very little time available since then due to changes in my life. Though I'll still try to help merge pull requests, it'll be unlikely for me to be able to actively develop new features or to fix bugs.

I'm looking for new maintainers, if any one is able to help develop and maintain pdf2htmlEX, please let me know. Thanks!

  1. Hi,

I'm the author of SumatraPDF (,,

I would like to give a try helping maintain pdf2htmlex. Let me know how you think this would work. You can e-mail me at

  2. Hi, we love the way the project works and we will assign some resources to evolve it if you are not able.

    How can we proceed?

You can email me at voceses@h*tmail.c*m.

  3. I maintain my own fork of the project for our own uses. I only use the core rendering code though. I have significantly enhanced the hidden text rendering and done other bug fixes. Unfortunately I don't have time to take over the project as it stands.

    1. David Hedley: Is your fork public? Hidden text rendering is a big problem. We're also seeing a lot of problems when the typesetter has used multiple layers of text to build up a block of type. We'd really appreciate any code fixes that would help us render these titles.

  4. Hey Guys - we are not able to compile this for RHEL 7. Any suggestion?

  5. Hello everyone. Some gentle soul has created a new project around this amazing piece of software.

They're looking for volunteers. I'll give it a go. :)
